Once the gym & pool room went in, I was happy. We have had few issues with parking, but when we do, someone usually answers the phone quickly. I always recieve my packages in a safe & timely manner. For over a century, it's been one of St. Paul's most enduring downtown landmarks. You'd be hard pressed to find ceilings and windows as impressively tall anywhere else, aside from maybe the Cathedral. The management team is the epitome of Minnesota Nice. The unique character of this building is something I fell in love with immediately upon touring almost 2 years ago. The building is maintained to perfection and overall, the staff is very responsive to anything. But we will miss many things about living in town and having easy access to so much that goes on in St. Paul! Maintenance has always responded quickly to requests -although nothing we needed has been urgent. We knew this going into the deal, but we loved the historical features of this building. We have never had an issue with getting a hold of them and can get simple maintenance scheduled and completed the same day. The staff has been great to deal with all through the process. 38 of 43. There was only one working elevator for the first several months we were here - so any time someone was moving in it was a huge hassle for everyone. Now, this elegantly renovated 16-story complex has been re-imagined to meet the needs of today's resident — all while maintaining its cherished 19th Century charm. Thank you. You get to enjoy living in a downtown with out the rush of the down town feel. We thoroughly look forward to even more amenities being rolled out in the near future, including a skyway wine and spirit shop and an outdoor lounge space! The only reason we won't renew when our lease is up is that we now need more space with a baby on the way and want a more suburban lifestyle. … There were also several days when the one elevator was not working - and being newly pregnant I was not about to climb 9 stories! Being home and in my apartment it's what I look forward to everyday after work coming home. When my dryer wasn't working properly, maintenance fixed the problem within 24 hours. The building itself is beautiful. Always responsive to our emails and always giving us a heads up if there is any maintenance going to take place. There's also a gorgeous granite fireplace with more previously mentioned stainless steel appliances. The 1890-built Endicott building forms an L-shape around the 1889-built Pioneer Building.
I highly recommend living here. It is so nice to have both Legacy Chocolate and Revival Wine, Beer & Spirits located on the 2nd floor. Plus how many people can go down stairs to the second floor Monday through Saturday and have access to a coffee shop that sells chocolates or a wine shop.
As an architecture lover, this property is to die for. The fitness center just opened and the party room/business center I was told would be finished in November. It's a great place to host a family party. For over a century, it's been one of St. Paul's most enduring downtown landmarks.
