As a practical matter, the CT is significantly faster in Sport when merging on to the freeway in my daily commute. Has anyone else had this experience. Mark an area and grab a stopwatch and it will be very clear ECO/Normal/Sport is not a "seat of the pants" feature.

Sport Mode has better throttle response (makes it feel like it's faster), but the acceleration is not any better than normal or ECO. I am getting ~51mpg (computer), ~48mpg manual calculation.
