I picked up the movie with no cover and not even knowing what it was, but when I watched it I laughed so hard. More like Spinal Tap than anything else, the film is clever from the start. I'm a big fan of Spinal tap, so naturally I had to check this out. Having seen both "Fear of a Black Hat" and "This is Spinal Tap", I can honestly state that while similar, both movies are truly must see. C'mon...how can you be against a rap-mockumentary that features the line: Although it rips off SPINAL TAP scene-by-scene in some instances, FEAR OF A BLACK HAT offers up enough belly laughs -- some of them very large -- to make it worth a look.
